Hey there!

Wait, it’s December already?! Wasn’t it just summer like five minutes ago? 😅 Between all the holiday chaos, festive events, and the inevitable hunt for the perfect gift, there’s plenty to keep you busy—and plenty to enjoy—this month!

As always, I’ve packed this email with local finds and seasonal highlights to help you make the most of December. My goal? To create a newsletter you actually look forward to opening each month!

But first, I thought I’d share a few snapshots from last month—a little “photo dump” of life lately, both at work and off-duty. 📸

Personally, November was a buys month! We wrapped up baseball for our oldest. It was a fun season watching him improve and have fun! I was able to join Cole for lunch at school for “Picnic with your Pumpkin”. We had a fantastic Thanksgiving visiting Chris’s family in Pennsylvania. I’m looking forward to December. BTW, have any ideas on what to get a 4 and 5 year old for Christmas? I need help!

Professionally, I had my annual Christmas photo event for past clients and VIP’s. I love being able to appreciate my clients for trusting me to help them through buying and selling a home. You can see the photo of my family below. I also had a closing for a home in Waxahachie that was on the market for less than a week before going under contract. Now that the election is over, I have many buyers who are ready to buy a home before the crazy spring market. If this is you, reply to this email and lets get started!

  • The Velvet Taco Expands with New Location in Fort Worth
Fort Worth is about to get a taste of one of Dallas’ favorite fast-casual taco spots—The Velvet Taco. Known for its inventive, globally inspired tacos, Velvet Taco has opened a new location in the bustling Southwest Fort Worth area, bringing its signature fusion flavors to a whole new audience. With a menu that includes unique tacos like the “Chicken & Waffle” and the “Elote,” this vibrant spot promises to offer a fun and casual dining experience with high-quality ingredients and bold flavors. The Fort Worth location is expected to be a hit with locals looking for a quick bite that’s anything but ordinary.

Here’s what I’m noticing in our market…

  • It’s currently a sellers market because inventory is still low.
  • However, if you’re thinking about buying, now could be a good time because homes are sitting on the market for longer and sellers need to sell. They are willing to make a deal!
  • If you’re thinking about selling, homes are selling more slowly and depending on your location will depend on if people are getting top dollar. If you are able to wait until the spring, I would! I do have an incredible opportunity to list your home off market in Private Collection, which 2500 agents with Keller Williams around the DFW Metroplex have access too. It does not rack up days on market either!
