Hey there, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]! This past month I read some GOOD books. Someone recently asked me how I have so much time to read. The honest truth is that I don’t really watch a lot of TV. I also bring my Kindle with me everywhere and will often reach for it before I scroll. I don’t consider myself a fast reader, I just find pockets of time to read. Page turners for sure. What have you been reading?
Absolutely LOVED this book. It’s long but didn’t feel long. This is the same author as The Help. The writing is just so good and funny. The book is set in the early 1900’s and goes through a story of what a woman has to do in order help her family after they’ve fallen on hard times. There is also an interwoven story about a girl who is an orphan. Seriously, you have to read this one!
This one has all the things you want in a book with a lot of twists and turns. I flew through this one and couldn’t wait to see how it all came together. It’s about two podcast hosts that are best friends, a disappearance, and a death. Great book!
Another fantastic book! What if you had the chance to re-do situations in your life? Would you do it? The main character had that ability and it is a heartbreaking story about unintended consequences. Another one that I flew through. ​
Another book that I LOVED! This is about the life of a man who grew up with a physical difference and the trials and tribulations that he struggled with. It was excellent and I couldn’t put it down! ​
Ok this book has been everywhere so I had to read it and you know what… I didn’t love it. It was sooo slow. I kept waiting for the author to get to the point. There were definitely some beautiful moments and an unexpected ending but it definitely wasn’t my favorite. ​
I usually love Colleen Hoover books. This one wasn’t my favorite. The beginning was slow but once I got into it I couldn’t put it down. I didn’t love the main character or her morals. It was just an ok read. ​ What Tash is reading this month:
