Hi there!
February always feels like the perfect month to slow down just a bit — cozy evenings, earlier sunsets, and a good book within arm’s reach. Reading has always been one of my favorite ways to reset, learn something new, or just escape for a few chapters.
I wanted to share a few things I’ve been reading lately, and then hand things over to Tash to share what’s been on her nightstand too.

Here’s what I’ve been enjoying this month:

This book gets 5/5 stars. It was a fascinating story about how someone’s life could turn out completely differently based on what they are named. It follows three different stories and how the main character and those in his circle lives would turn out. I couldn’t put it down!
Absolutely heart wrenching throughout the whole entire book. This one is very realistic and incredibly sad. I gave it 5/5 stars because the story had me wanting to know what happened. I can’t necessarily call this a “good” book or one that I particularly enjoyed, yet I was gripped by the story.
I listened to this one and got so many great takeaways from it. We often give up so quickly on things. What if we did ask ourselves, can we do just one more? One more rep at the gym, one more call to a lead, one more book for your kid, etc. How different could your life look.
I also listened to this one. Brene Brown, need I say more? But really, I loved listening to this. Being vulnerable and yet taking accountability when you are in a leadership role is powerful. Wonderful read!
Tash’s February Reads
“This month I’ve been listening to The Guy You Loved to Hate, Spencer Pratt’s new book, and it’s been such a fun surprise. As a millennial who grew up watching The Hills, it’s fascinating to finally hear the behind-the-scenes stories and how things really unfolded. Having Spencer narrate it himself makes it feel personal and authentic, and it’s genuinely sweet getting an inside look at his relationship with Heidi. The opening monologue made me laugh out loud, and his love for his lifetime home, The Palisades really comes through. After losing everything in the Palisades fire, it’s especially powerful to hear how he’s choosing to rebuild and stay motivated instead of letting it knock him down. I’m honestly rooting for him in his run for mayor of LA.” – Tash
Whether you’re reading for growth, comfort, or just for fun, I’d love to know…
