Crape Myrtle Festival & Fireworks | Waxahachie

One of Ellis County’s most beloved traditions returns July 3-4 as Waxahachie celebrates Independence Day with the annual Crape Myrtle Festival.

Festivities kick off July 3 at the Waxahachie Sports Complex with live entertainment, food vendors, family activities, and a fireworks show beginning at a 9:15 p.m.

On July 4, the celebration continues with the CNB of Texas Hometown Parade through historic downtown Waxahachie followed by the Liberty & Lemonade Stroll. Admission is free and families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a full day of festivities.

Midlothian Independence Day Parade

Midlothian’s annual parade is a favorite tradition for local families and a great way to celebrate community spirit.

Expect patriotic floats, local organizations, marching groups, and plenty of red, white, and blue as residents line the streets to celebrate Independence Day together. July 4th, 10AM.

Fort Worth’s Fourth

One of the largest Independence Day celebrations in North Texas takes place at Panther Island Pavilion.

Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, family activities, food vendors, and one of the area’s largest fireworks displays over the Trinity River. July 4th, gates open at 5PM.

America 250 Celebrations Across DFW

As the nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, many communities throughout DFW are hosting special patriotic events, exhibits, concerts, and family activities honoring this historic milestone.
