Hey there!
I finished up 3 books this last month and some I loved and some were just ok. Let’s get into it.

This is a classic book written in the 60’s and has been on my Good Read’s list for years. I finally read it and it took me forever to finish. It was honestly eye opening and really sad to read how women were treated if they were going through mental health problems in the 60’s. They often had no say in whether or not they went to an asylum and what the treatment was. I gave it 3/5 stars.

This was our book club pick this month and I loved it. There were so many surprising things that happened that I certainly didn’t see coming. It’s a story about love, heartbreak, and sacrifice. 5/5 stars for this one.

Sometimes I just want to read something quick and “easy” and Colleen Hoover never disappoints. This one was not at all what I was expecting and was kind of out there. Overall, I was still sucked in and couldn’t wait to figure out the ending. 4/5 stars for this one.
What Tash has been reading this month:
“Confession: my “Monthly Reads” this month has mostly been ingredient labels, listings, and Dallas Tiki Week schedules. 😂
But between work, life, and trying to survive Texas allergy season, I haven’t finished many actual books lately. What’s something you’ve been loving lately? A book, podcast, article, show, recipe… send me your recommendations because my summer reading list needs help.” – Tash
Thanks for reading along this month! Now I want to know… what’s been on your nightstand, in your earbuds, or filling your “just one more chapter” time lately? Reply and share your recent favorites with us!
