What I’ve Been Reading This Month 🤍

Hey there!

This past month I read a couple of books that I was sucked into, one that was ok, and I listened to one that I didn’t enjoy much. I’ve been in somewhat of a reading rut. If you have a recent read that you can’t stop thinking about, send it my way so I can add it to my list!

Hannah’s March Reads

Here’s what I’ve been enjoying this month:

I finished the second book in this series. I really liked it but it wasn’t as good as the first one. It’s an easy read that keeps me intrigued. It reminds me a little bit of ACOTAR. There is a 3rd book that’s supposed to be coming out in October. I doubt I’ll remember what happened by the time it gets here! 4/5 stars.

This book was so good. 5/5 stars for sure! I was sucked in and couldn’t wait to figure out what happened. I finished on the plane and was bawling in my seat. Have you seen the movie? Is it good? The movies are never as good as the book but I may give it a watch one of these days!

I was so disappointed in this book. I’ve heard so many rave reviews but I could not get into it until I was over halfway through. It was so slow and bogged down in little details that I didn’t feel like mattered. I loved the way it ended with the main characters but there were several story lines that just ended and I’m still wondering what happened to those characters. 3/5 stars for this one.

This was the book that I listened to. This was our book club pick. I was not a fan at all and I usually love historical fiction. I don’t even remember most of what happened and often found myself spacing out. I do remember that it was incredibly sad and heartbreaking. 2/5 stars for this one.

Tash’s March Reads

Lately, my reading has been a mix of my Bible and StoryBrand 2.0—an unexpected but really good pairing.

I heard Donald Miller speak at Social Media Con during KW Family Reunion last month, and it really stuck with me—especially around clarity and how we show up.

I’ve also been working my way through Exodus, and when I got to the plagues in Egypt, I had to pause on why God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. The more I sit with it, the more it feels like it wasn’t forcing something new, but allowing what was already there to fully play out for a bigger purpose.

It’s had me thinking about clarity in a different way—not just what we say, but the choices we make and how we show up.

Whether you’re reading for growth, comfort, or just for fun, I’d love to know…

What are you reading right now?

Reach out and tell me what’s on your list — I’m always looking for my next great read.

Happy reading,
